Our Team.
Gene Lucas
Founder & President
As the founder and president of Lucas Paving, Gene built this company with his own hands. With over 30 years of experience as a general contractor, he’s clocked countless hours raking, shoveling, and rolling asphalt, as well as steering pavers and driving dump trucks. When he is not estimating or supervising asphalt paving, Gene can be found pursuing his other passions, which include his local church, golf, hunting, fishing, and skiing. Gene lives in Botetourt County with his wife and they have three beautiful children.
Saúl
Superintendent
As the longest and most faithful Lucas Paving employee, Saúl has served this company for over 20 years. He is an expert equipment operator, and you’ll see him on most job sites. He lives with his family in Roanoke.
Laura Lucas
Estimator
Laura is an estimator for Lucas Paving, and since she’s the proud owner of a CDL, you’ll also see her behind the wheel of a dump truck! She’ll make sure you have what you need at your job site. She lives with her family in Roanoke.
Caroline Lucas
Estimator
Caroline is an estimator for Lucas Paving who also handles scheduling and customer service. She’ll make sure your questions are answered and your job is done on time! She lives with her family in Roanoke.

Tommy has been our faithful and dedicated truck driver for many years; ensures the equipment and material arrive safe and on time. He resides in Botetourt County.
